After Row Over Its Delivery Executive Eating From Customer’s Orders Zomato Introduces ‘Tamper-Proof Packing’

Each package is made from a single material reusable polymer with 50 microns thickness.�
- Online restaurant guide and food delivery startup Zomato on Wednesday (20 March) stated that its ‘Zomato Safely Sealed’ initiative had received a positive response in ten cities with more than 5000 restaurants already delivering 25 per cent of their orders with tamper-proof packages.
- The cities where the initiative has been launched are Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Nagpur and Vadodara.
- Under the initiative, food deliveries from restaurants are packed using sealed tamper-proof packages.
