India needs innovation in agriculture, education than driverless cars: NITI Aayog

  • India needs to find solutions to increase agricultural productivity and water conservation instead of focusing on driverless cars or war machines, Amitabh Kant, CEO, NITI Aayog said during an event organised by the alumni association of IIT-Kanpur here on Saturday.
  • The country is facing challenges related to quality of education and health and these challenges can be only confronted with major technological breakthroughs, he added.
  • Startup Master Class (SMC) is the flagship entrepreneur event of the Alumni Association IIT Kanpur, organised along-with IIT-Kanpur Incubation centre, eCell and participants from IITs and IIMs.
