Wing's national president Poonam Mahajan addresses over 50L volunteers across 200 locations via video conference
- BJP's youth wing, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) kicked off its Vijay Lakshya 2019 campaign via video conference where its national president, Poonam Mahajan, addressed 50 lakh youth volunteers – based out of 200 locations of the country – from the hills of Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh, on Thursday.
- This is said to be the largest ever youth outreach programme ever done by any political party via video conference.
- Two-way interactions were held across 20 locations, which includes strategically significant locations such as Leh in Jammu & Kashmir, Wagah in Punjab, Kutch in Gujarat, Jaisalmer in Rajasthan, Darjeeling in West Bengal, Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu and Bastar in Chhattisgarh.
- Launching the campaign, Mahajan explained why the youth of the country should help bringing back a 'Modi government 2.0'.
