China has thrown its support behind Pakistan's accusations against India, stating that the claims of India's role in the killings of Pakistani individuals and terrorists deserve attention. The Chinese foreign ministry emphasized its opposition to double standards in counter-terrorism and expressed its backing for global cooperation against terrorism. The Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson emphasized, "I want to stress that terrorism is humanity's common enemy. China opposes double standards on counter-terrorism, which benefits no one and will only backfire.

China stands for strengthening counter-terrorism cooperation among all countries to jointly fight all forms of terrorism." Pakistan had recently accused India of carrying out extra-judicial killings of two of its citizens on Pakistani soil and asserted having evidence of links between Indian agents and the assassination of two terrorists last year. India hit back at Pakistan, with New Delhi slamming Islamabad as the "epicenter of terrorism" and suggesting that it will "reap what it sows."

The Chinese endorsement of Pakistan's accusations against India adds another layer of tension to the already strained relations between the two neighboring countries. It also serves to highlight the ongoing geopolitical complexities in South Asia and the potential impact on global counter-terrorism efforts.
